Delerium – Inner Sanctum (2nd edition)

infinity….infinity?

sky cold, skin blue, when I wake

so swim into essential, you’ve swam a thousand voids

why is eternity forever, why is eternity forever?

skin screams bear me again, inner sanctum

we watch from dry land

while waves destroy our theories

so swim into essential, you’ve swam a thousand voids

why is eternity forever, the horizon deceives

some say thier ships above sea, sailing on winds of belief

while waves destroy our theories bear me again

sky cold ,skin blue, when I wake

to worship water

sky cold, skin blue, when I wake, infinity waving

sky cold, skin blue , when I wake, infinity waving

Lyrics by Kirsty Hawkshaw and Birgitte Birnie

From The Delerium CD, “Poem“

If I had to

Move a mountain for u

I would do it

I could do it

A shovelful at a time

For your smile

I’d walk an extra mile

I’d walk that mile

A thousand times

And it would

Still seem so worthwile

Delerium

Soaks my skin – through to the bone
Pain is nothing that a downpour won’t erase
Rain – you can’t hold on to it
A treasure you cannot frame
Rain – somehow I’m drawn to it
I feel engaged, one and the same
When heavens dressing beads off my face
The pain is nothing that a downpour won’t erase

Aishiteruze Baby AMV ~ Delerium – A Poem for Byzantium

This song is off Delerium’s “Poem” CD.  Vocals by Joanna Stevens

Delerium – A Poem For Byzantium Lyrics

Unbidden shadows of you formed yesterday
I ran away to a room here on the bay
Interrupted life again, another new beginning
Where the silence echoes you’re no longer with me

Here and now, i feel that i’m embracing freedom
Even though i may be alone, but that’s ok

Through the darkness i would walk in the streets
Confessions never seemed to provide me with a release
Held me down and tried to cure me tried to give me reason
But nothing could separate this burdened mind from me

Here and now, i feel that i’m embracing freedom
Even though i may be alone, but that’s ok
And looking out to a different sky will disengage me
Absence is never the answer, i know, but it serves as my shade

I do not seek and do not intend to find
A calmer ocean or a sun that will never rise
My world will never change and time will bring you to mythoughts
And i’ll move on and then forget you all over again
Moving on, i can forgive you all over again

Here and now, i feel that i’m embracing freedom
Even though i may be alone, but that’s ok
And looking out onto a different sky it seems so easy
Absence is never the answer, i know, but it serves as my shade

She stands so alone, on a hill

Overlooking her town, so forlorn

Paper thin,yet something within

So strong …1994

That  picture of her…so sad and blue

Concealed the majesty within,

Treasures hidden in that soul

Gems of trust and love and wonder

This woman of song

She told me of tears that burned

Of her fine love once spurned

Of angels that shouldnt cry, but only fly

And help this world

God looked at her that day

And said

You’ll be an angel  for others

Some day

In a darker hour

You were that gentle power

Kirsty

Angel…..
